3,516 S.F. 4 Plus Bedrooms! The Extreme Makeover Home Edition Custom Home Plan was designed for the Hebert Family in North Idaho. Episode 54 aired January of 2006 and was constructed in Sandpoint, Idaho in November of 2005. Designed and built by the owner of DownloadHousePlans.com, the EMHE house was built in 99.5 hours with over 1,200 volunteers with weather often in the teens at night. Here’s a little known fact about EMHE: they don’t give the builder 7 days, they give the builder 5 days and that includes demolition of the existing house! The other 2 days are for their designers and stage crew. The EMHE Custom Home Plan features 2,279 s.f. on the main floor (master bedroom is on the main floor) with another 884 s.f. on the second floor plus a bonus room of 353 s.f. over the garage. Total square footage is 3,516 plus a three car garage (902 s.f.). This custom house has a stunning entry which leads past a dining room and into the two story great room. The kitchen is open to the great room with a giant island and eating nook.
